Acronis and Hyperix announce a new TeamUp partnership with Sydney FC, marking Acronis’ first football collaboration in Australia and boosting cyber protection.

Acronis, a premier name in cybersecurity and data protection, proudly unveils its new TeamUp alliance with Sydney FC, Australia’s top professional football club. This collaboration, forged with Hyperix—known for its dependable, secure, and economical managed services—marks Acronis’ second TeamUp sports partnership in Australia and its inaugural football engagement in the region.

As Sydney FC’s exclusive Cyber Protection Partner, Hyperix will bolster the club’s cybersecurity framework with Acronis technology. This includes deploying Acronis’s advanced security solutions, such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), to safeguard against cyber threats. With this partnership, Sydney FC will benefit from top-tier security measures to protect their data and operations. Established in 2019, Hyperix, a managed services provider (MSP) operating across Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales, will manage all security services for the club.

This partnership signifies Acronis’ 15th TeamUp collaboration with professional football clubs globally. It offers substantial branding opportunities for both Acronis and Hyperix, including co-naming rights on prominent Sydney FC assets like the Sydney FC Business Club and the ‘Sky Blue Lounge’ match day corporate hospitality at Allianz Stadium. Additionally, the partnership will feature exclusive networking events and visibility on the A-League men’s and women’s coaches’ polos. This strategy guarantees prominent exposure and strengthens the alliance between Sydney FC, Acronis, and Hyperix.
