Andorra‘s tourism industry is set to surge with the introduction of visa-free travel to 171 countries as of August 2024, including France, Australia, and Sri Lanka. This strategic initiative aims to attract a diverse array of international visitors, enhancing Andorra’s appeal as a premier travel destination and stimulating economic growth through increased tourism. Andorra, officially known as the Principality of Andorra, is a small, landlocked country nestled in the eastern Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain. Despite its compact size, Andorra boasts a rich history, stunning landscapes, and a thriving tourism industry. Each year, approximately 23,000 to 31,000 Andorran residents travel abroad to popular destinations such as Spain, France, Portugal, and other European countries for leisure, business, and cultural visits.

This move will facilitate easier travel for Andorran residents, encouraging more international trips and broadening their travel experiences. The increased accessibility is expected to enhance Andorra’s global connectivity and cultural exchange.”
