This summer, a unique vacation unfolded as Experience Abu Dhabi hosted a remarkable group of 20 individuals named ‘Summer’ from across the globe for an unforgettable journey in the UAE’s capital. On their first visit, these guests discovered why Abu Dhabi’s attractions are too numerous to explore in just one visit, offering diverse experiences for every taste and interest.
Over three days, the group of Summers, along with their special guests, enjoyed a blend of cultural experiences, thrilling activities, and relaxation. They engaged in an array of activities curated by the 101 Abu Dhabi Do’s, which offers a rich selection of opportunities for adventure and discovery.
Their adventures ranged from soaring in the world’s tallest indoor flight chamber at CLYMB Abu Dhabi to breakfast encounters with giraffes at Emirates Park Zoo. They experienced the serenity of kayaking through mangroves at dawn, relaxed at Café del Mar, and enjoyed an authentic Emirati breakfast in the home of Abdulrahman Al Zaabi.
Exciting and Cultural Discoveries
The Summers’ itineraries were filled with unforgettable experiences, from playful snowball fights at Snow Abu Dhabi to meeting capybaras at The National Aquarium.
Their creative spirits were ignited at the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi and during a craft workshop at Manarat Al Saadiyat, where they used traditional Arabic techniques to craft unique souvenirs. The thrill-seekers among them ventured to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi for exhilarating rides and meetings with beloved superheroes.
Additionally, each Summer visited renowned architectural landmarks like the majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Qasr Al Hosn, and the House of Artisans.
A City of Diverse Tastes
Throughout their stay, the Summers indulged in a varied culinary journey. They experienced dining in the dark at Bab Al Qasr, enhancing their senses of taste and smell, and tasted local specialties like dough balls with date syrup and Emirati pancakes at Luqaimat and Chebab. Their dining experiences continued with Lebanese dishes at Li Beirut, Mediterranean cuisine at Mika, Argentinian fare at Mate, Peruvian specialties at COYA, and Italian delights at Antonia.
