Greater Victoria’s much-loved Dine Around and Stay in Town festival is set to return in 2025 with exciting new additions that promise to make this culinary event even more special. Running from January 24 to February 9, 2025, the festival invites residents and visitors to explore the city’s diverse range of restaurants and accommodations.
This year, more than 50 local restaurants are participating, offering set-price three-course menus priced from $25 to $75 per person. The introduction of a new $75 menu option adds even more variety, ensuring there’s something for every taste. While dinner has always been the event’s highlight, 2025 sees an expansion, with many restaurants now offering exclusive breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus as well.
Alongside the delicious dining experiences, Greater Victoria’s hotels are offering special accommodation rates ranging from $139 to $259. This is a perfect opportunity for both locals and tourists to enjoy a night out and support the city’s vibrant hospitality industry.
With an abundance of culinary delights and attractive hotel deals, Dine Around and Stay in Town is the ideal way to experience the best of Greater Victoria’s food scene. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in this unique celebration of local flavors and community spirit!
“For more than twenty years, this popular culinary festival has showcased the creativity of the region’s
leading chefs,” says Peter DeBruyn, Provincial Chair, BC Restaurant and Food Services Association –
Victoria Chapter. “This year’s specially curated menus will feature some of the best farmed and foraged
ingredients the region has to offer – a treat for locals and visitors alike.”
The 2025 Dine Around and Stay in Town festival welcomes several new participants, including Bin 4 Burger Lounge, Rudi, Table 19, Sea Cider Farm and Ciderhouse, Saxe Point Public House, MeeT on Blanshard, and Jacks on the Water. In addition, Days Inn on the Harbour joins the list of participating accommodations. With January being a traditionally slower month for Greater Victoria’s hospitality sector, the Dine Around and Stay in Town program offers a valuable opportunity to boost traffic to local restaurants and hotels.
“During off-peak times, events like Dine Around and Stay in Town play an important role in supporting
restaurants and hotels as well as the broader visitor economy in Greater Victoria,” says Paul Nursey, CEO
of Destination Greater Victoria. “Every visitor counts during the slower winter months. By highlighting the
region’s culinary scene and accommodations, this event invites both locals and visitors to experience the
unique offerings of our destination. Such events have a lasting impact on the community.”
The Dine Around and Stay in Town Victoria Gala kicks off the 2025 foodie festival on January 23 at the Crystal Garden. Early bird tickets are now available for $100 plus tax, and once sold out, regular Gala tickets will be offered for $120 plus tax. Gala attendees will enjoy unlimited delicious bites and beverages, along with lively entertainment, all while building excitement for the culinary adventures ahead.
