As of 1 December 2024, Thai AirAsia X has resumed its direct flight services between Bangkok and Sydney, Australia, offering travelers a convenient and cost-effective option for transcontinental travel. The inaugural flight departed from Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok and landed in Sydney earlier today, marking the beginning of six weekly services on this popular route.
This new service positions Thai AirAsia X as the only low-cost carrier providing direct flights from Bangkok-Don Mueang to Sydney. The airline’s return to the Sydney market offers Australian travelers access to affordable flights to Thailand and beyond.
