Turkish Airlines, renowned for flying to more countries and international destinations than any other airline, hosted the prestigious Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup at Antalya Gloria Golf Resort from December 2-6, 2023. The event attracted a wide array of corporate partners, loyalty program members, and influential figures from the business world, underscoring the airline’s commitment to fostering global connections through sport.

Since its inception in 2013, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup has become a key part of the airline’s mission to bridge continents, countries, and cultures. Through its global sports sponsorships, Turkish Airlines continues to build lasting relationships with corporate customers, creating unique opportunities for networking and engagement. This year, the event attracted over 9,000 participants who competed in more than 110 tournaments around the world, with the grand finals bringing together the best players in Antalya.

At the highly anticipated Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Finals, Walker Toomes emerged as the champion, delivering a remarkable performance and securing a total of 140 points. Nan Park claimed second place with 91 points, while Gantulga Erdene finished third with 89 points.

The event not only celebrated the spirit of competition but also highlighted Turkish Airlines’ dedication to promoting golf as part of its worldwide sports initiatives. As the airline continues to support and sponsor events of this caliber, it reinforces its position as a global leader in both aviation and sports.

Following the Grand Finals, Turkish Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Ahmet Olmuştur said; “Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup is one of the best examples of our support for sports and athletes. This tournament trascends being just a sporting event, it fosters friendship and cooperation, uniting cultures and people. The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup tournament debuted in 2013 across 12 countries. Since then, it has expanded to over 70 countries, becoming the world’s largest and most extensive corporate amateur golf series. Sponsored by Gloria Hotels & Resorts and Ruck & Maul, the ninth edition of the tournament brought together thousands of golf enthusiasts and amateurs from around the globe.
